2015 Siouxland Race for Hope
It’s the story of your aunt, who is battling breast cancer. It’s the story of your father, who passed away from Leukemia. Its the story of your best friend who just found out that their cancer was in remission. It’s the story of a community that comes together to fight for a worthy cause, against a battle that has touched the lives of too many people.
Every year, hundreds of Siouxlanders gather at Adams Homestead and Nature Preserve to take part in honoring those that have battled or are still battling cancer. One hundred percent of the proceeds raised from this event go towards providing equipment and services that help the cancer patients at the June E. Nylen Cancer Center, right here in Sioux City.
Race for Hope is a story about endurance and courage and compassion to help others. It’s a story about loss and love and living life to the fullest. It’s a story about hopes and dreams and celebrating survivors. It’s a story about community and connecting with others that know what you’re going through. It’s a story about sharing stories. Good stories, sad stories, and everything in between.
We hope that you choose to be part of our story on Sept. 19, 2015. Find complete information and register here: http://siouxlandraceforhope.com/
