2012 Stars and Angels Among Us is nearing
What’s black and white and green all over?
The Stars and Angels Among Us Winter Benefit, set for March 10, 2012.
Don’t worry – this isn’t a black tie affair (although you won’t get turned away if you’re dressed to the nines). It’s a fun, casual, Irish-themed way to honor a Star and an Angel in the cancer community. A Star is someone who has courageously battled cancer and been an inspiration to others. An Angel is someone who has made an impact as a caregiver for someone battling cancer.
The 2011 benefit raised more than $190,000 to fund colon screenings for underserved Siouxland residents.
Plans for the 14th annual winter benefit include a silent and live auction, dinner and entertainment. Proceeds will help purchase new radiation technology to help our patients fight cancer like the Irish.
