More than 1,000 participants were on hand for the 2010 Race for Hope, held on a rainy Saturday, Sept. 18, at the Adams Homestead and Nature Preserve in McCook Lake, S.D.
The 14th annual event raised more than $51,000, a new record, which helps fund cancer-related efforts at the June E. Nylen Cancer Center and around Siouxland.
