Your Way to Wellness: Life after Cancer Treatment
This class is free to people who have completed active cancer treatment and includes information on: nutrition, physical activity, social and emotional well-being, spiritual resources and physical and medical health.

Kids Coping with a Loved One’s Cancer
This class is for kids age 5 – 15 and consists of 3 one-on-one sessions to help kids deal with a loved one’s cancer. Class meets on as-needed basis. Please call 252-0088.
After Breast Cancer (ABC) Support Group
Third Tuesday of Every Month • 5:30 PM
This is a support group for women who have or have had breast cancer. This group meets September through May. Please call 712-252-9370 for more information.
Caregivers Support Group
Meets 4 Times a Year
The goal of this support group is to help caregivers cope with change and losses, say what is important to family and friends, explore spiritual aspects of care giving, make important decisions, know what to expect and to hear from others who are also caregivers. Family Support Group
Meets Monthly
It is designed for patients and their families who are dealing with the diagnosis of leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and multiple myeloma. Also included in the group are any and all types of cancer. Call Brenda at 712-252-9370 for dates & times of meetings.
Young At Heart Cancer Support Group
Meets 4 Times a Year
This group is designed for cancer survivors forty-something and below who have completed or are undergoing treatment. The group addresses issues of fertility, dealing with a cancer diagnosis while raising young children, family issues and fatigue. Call for meeting dates and times. Prostate Cancer Support Group
First Tuesday of Every Month • 5:15 PM
The purpose of the group is to provide a comfortable place to receive information about diagnosis and treatment options for prostate cancer along with providing interesting topics for discussion. Please call 712-252-9426 for more information.
Wellness and Survivorship Clinic
This clinic has been developed in an effort to provide continued care for cancer survivors. It will support patients and their loved ones who are facing the many challenges of cancer and its treatment. The Survivorship Clinic is comprised of a team of nurses, a dietitian, chaplain, patient navigator and wellness coordinator. The primary focus is on the prevention, detection and treatment of complications resulting from cancer treatment. The clinic staff will also provide guidance and direction to empower survivors to maximize their own health and quality of life. Call 712-252-9426 for more information.
