FREE Skin Cancer Screening

FREE Skin Cancer Screening Thursday May 12, 2016The Siouxland community has the opportunity to attend a free skin cancer screening at the June E. Nylen Cancer Center on Thursday May 12, 2016 from 6:30 – 8:00pm. Registration is required by calling Mercy at 712-279-2507. Skin Cancer AwarenessThe goal of these screenings is to encourage adults who have not been screened by their family physician to take advantage of the free screenings. Early diagnosis is important, before any cancer can spread to other organs.   Skin Cancer is the most common cancer in the United States, 1 in 5 Americans will develop skin cancer in their lifetime. Local Dermatologists will provide a full body check, or you can request to have a particular spot or area checked.
