Providing comprehensive treatment options and patient services

The June E. Nylen Cancer Center provides comprehensive outpatient care to cancer and hematology patients from the tri-state area.

The three primary methods to treat cancer are surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy. At the cancer center, we provide state-of-the-art radiation and 3D treatment planning, as well as the newest types of chemotherapy available through clinical trials. Depending on the patient’s diagnosis, their care plan may include a combination of surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy during the course of their treatment.

In addition to chemotherapy and radiation therapy, we offer convenient hematology care and additional patient services right here in the same facility. Patients also have access to a full array of support services including nutrition, educational resources, a free wig boutique, support groups, and more.

Radiation Therapy

Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays to destroy cancer cells and shrink tumors. About half of all cancer patients receive radiation therapy as part of their cancer treatment.
